Big Apple, here we come!We intended to only send these out about once a month, but the news is rolling in! Here's the latest.

Next week, Dr. Roberta Hunte and I will be traveling to New York City to screen with the African American Women in Cinema Festival on Thursday, March 24th at 9:45 a.m. (this time was just changed on 3/23 by the festival!) If you're there or know anyone there, please help us spread the word (or come out and say hello)!

More upcoming screenings:
April 3rd at 11: 45 a.m. at Through A Woman's Eyes as part of the Sarasota Film Festival in Sarasota, Florida.
April 16th at 8 p.m. at WAMMFest in Towson, Maryland.

April 19th, we'll be holding a screening in Portland with Metro featuring a special discussion about workforce diversity. It's during the day, but if you are interested in these issues and would like to attend, please contact me so I can provide the details.

On April 29th, Roberta, Sidony O'neal (our amazing lead) and I will travel to Chicago to the international tradeswoman conference called Women Building Nations for a special screening of the film for conference attendees. We love sharing the film in general, but this will be a unique event for us!

Thanks for reading and supporting. We are working to set up a few screenings in Portland and we have more news coming so stay tuned!

Dr. Roberta Hunte and I in Eugene, Oregon. Thanks to Kickstarter backer Nicole Francisco (third from right), for arranging the screening at University of Oregon. I particularly love the more academic talks when I get to hear Dr. Hunte share her knowledge.

As the newest member of the Oregon Media Production Association and because of our recent award as Best Oregon Short Film, I somehow managed to get an invite to the signing of the new film incentives Bill 1507 with Governor Kate Brown. The signing was held at Laika Studios. When I met the governor, I had thirty seconds to tell her about the film and pressed one of our business cards into her hand. Let us know when you're ready to watch the film, Governor!
